Thanks for the new part, Dee!

Liquid diet all day today and then the "fun" prep solution tonight. I had my first colonoscopy 5 years ago, so I at least know what to expect this time around. Will be nice to be back on solid food again tomorrow afternoon.

The colonoscopy was a breeze. 100% healthy colon! No sign of polyps this time around.

Excellent news, FBL!
Headed home tomorrow. Very little time out here but I needed to see the sisters -- it's been 3 years.

Glad you got to see your sisters. It hasn't always been smooth if I recall?

Have a good day all!

That's good news Courage. I have been casually looking for a mention of it in our news bulletins, but must have missed it. Expect a little chaos, as it is a difficult time of year to open a new store.

Take care all!

sg, maybe it isn't *really* open. I saw a couple of people coming out w
ith bags, but maybe they're employees getting a few freebies before the big day. I didn't see an announcement through any of my local broadcasters.

Thanks FBL, thanks all POSTers (inc. lurkers), and merry Christmas back atcha!

Happy holidays, Dee!

Well I think I have COVID for Christmas -- nothing serious at all, but coughing more than usual, headache, weird night sweats a couple of nights ago... not bad, but enough to notice, and even dear husband admits that imaginary covid wouldn't be characteristic of me. I guess I'm doing my part to make COVID endemic in the USA

and DQ on the holly jollies!

I was reading on a store Reddit thread that Covid is especially hitting hard in NYC. I hope your symptoms remain mild and that you feel better soon Courage!

I think it's the new "AI" variety (asymptomatic imaginary) -- 99.9% transmissible; vaccines, masks, boosters have no effect on it; you can catch it just by reading.

Happy holidays!

How are you feeling Courage? It seems NYC is the Covid epicenter of the US just like the early days. Our stores in the city have been pummeled with Covid, with a third of the staff sick. I don't think there is the political will for another lockdown, but do all you can to stay safe. I assume school will be virtual to start the new year?

FBL, glad you packed a lot into your Minnesota visit at Christmas. Glad Mom is doing well.

We have been having a lot of damp, raw weather but no accumulating snow. It seems that this winter has been milder to start than usual. Things can turn on a dime this time of year.

Best wishes for a good 2022 next year. Hoping things will turn the corner in many ways next year.
