Thanks Toots for your post, I did have a bit of a meltdown on a call with my work team this morning, nothing major, just some frustration, not at my team but at my workload. They were very understanding and helped me through, and we ended up laughing so they aren't upset(I would never want to upset my team.)

But, it showed I'm a bit more stressed about work than I thought I was which is good to acknowledge. I can deal with it accordingly, but I think this is the root cause of my ramblings.

Glad things will ease a bit at work Sam, it's such a huge part of our waking life's that if something is going badly there, it impinges on other aspects of our lives.

Great going DDog LB et al

Things are still less than perfect during the daytime hours...but I managed to get some amazing sleep last night. That's something I will take any time I can get it. Hope everyone is doing well.

Third shift is rough, DD ….Idk how you do it

Awesome that you got good sleep, LB….I love when that happens…. I think if we try to make things perfect we’ll drive ourselves crazy….that’s one of my issues: all or nothing….needing to find and maintain more balance….easier said than done

Another friend passed on last night. The older I get the more it feels like last man standing competition.

Where I work third shift to me is the lesser of two evils. Basically I am in a position where my job would be the same whether on 1st or 3rd shift. First shift is a circus there, like a dog and pony show. I say that the first shift is too many chiefs and not enough indians. I like to do my job, do it well and be left alone to do it. That does not happen there on 1st shift.

Sorry to hear about your friend LB

Good point DD….I’m the same way….I’d rather be left alone to work and I can keep myself busy without people breathing down my neck!

Thanks to all. Same age as me, dropped out from a heart attack. I have been reminded on many occasions how my friends and I have been around longer than anyone expected. Yet when one goes ...no one expects that either...

Day 235 ODAAT Only night off this week and I just slept ten hours. If you can't sleep it will catch up to you and it will feel good when it does.
