Accountability: Today marks 8 months for me, it does not seem like a lot and yet it does. Persistence does pay off, as does my determination to make my life better. I have learned a lot these past months, and there is still plenty of learning and growth to happen.

I am finding that even 3 years later there is still growing and learning to do.
I am OK with that. Life is becoming a journey not a destination.
Nothing good comes easy. It helps keep me in check when my ego tries to tell me I have the answer.
A person who knows everything learns nothing.

Accountability: Doing pretty well, can't complain. Well..I could, but that does not solve anything. Been having small..very small urges today, not sure why. I have absolutely no plans or desire to drink.
Oh well, it will pass which I am grateful for. We were going to start to paint another room, but Mr. A was not feeling the best and was tired so we decided to take a rest day for him. Hopefully we can head of tomorrow evening and get some things done.

Nice work with 8 months Alpine. 
The mountainous region you live at is crazy cool. But I'm a flatlander that likes living near the ocean. I've been to Big Bear CA a few times in winter. Snow is nice to visit for a few days then go home and hit the warm beach.
You like me put in the daily recovery work as a lifelong process of growth and wellness. Urges come and go but sobriety has a lasting positive impact. sometimes one gets a bit scraped and bruised climbing to the summit of better health. Couldn't resist a mountain analogy sorry
