Had a drinking dream last night - dreamt someone got me a real beer instead of the AF I asked for and I was halfway down the bottle when I realised. I was so annoyed I was back to Day One! Glad when I woke up.
Hope all well - another sober adventure today. Huge winds expected later here in UK.

Drinking dreams are quite disturbing sometimes aren’t they Em. I’ve had quite a few. I’m always very relieved to realise they weren’t real!
I had an unexpected late night last night (long story) so I’m really tired this morning, but even being really tired is a million times better than being hungover.
It’s going to be an extra coffee day I’m thinking….

Great song, Dee - many thanks - just what I needed - made me realise how much time I've wasted on booze. Enough is enough.
Sleep quality is one of the best things about not drinking, Willow. BTW, we are 7 weeks in about two and a half hours. GMT, that is.

Long couple days here. One of organizations that I do work for (as a volunteer board member) is borrowing a large sum of money. We have bank proposals but one of the other board members is pushing one over the other and has shared confidential information with his favorite. It’s been kind of stressful and this whole drama is really unnecessary. It’s worn me out the last couple days. Thankfully, my sobriety has stayed intact without any trouble. No vocal AV to speak of. I’m very grateful for that. I just wanted to share it with you all.

Hope you have a better day Scott, good to vent and get it out. I to have had a harassed couple of days. Nothing awful, just normal life/family things we all have. Nothing ever just seems to run smoothly does it. Things always sort themselves out though and a fuzzy head on top of stresses certainly doesn't help us through these things. I'm finding quite a sense of achievement of marching through these normal niggles with a cuppa instead of a glass of wine in the evenings.
We are waiting on a big storm here today. its going to be quite nasty so stay safe if your in the UK.
