Class of January 2022 Part 2
Soooo good to see both Sams back here ❤️ Hugs to you both
Hang in there, you’ve got this! And we’ve got your back.
Well done everyone for being here and keeping going on this sober journey, one day at a time. Day 1 or day 100, or day 1000, we still walk it one day at a time.

Day 30 coming to an end - at last! It's been forever. Still, good to be here - glad you're back Sam. Good luck BTG, Calm - what's been your experience of low-carb? Especially when running? Love to hear.
Sleep tight all - spent the day in the kitchen washing up at a sporting event - harder than working!

Sam, so glad you came right back!
wrapping up day 6. Went to a movie to keep busy. Very slight thoughts of wine on the way there, but i shot them down and reminded the bugger I don’t drink anymore. Left the theater giddy at the thought of going home to a warm bed and a good book. I never read when drinking.
im on the Low-carb bus right now also. Used to be a runner pre-Covid but gained several pounds over the last 18 months and now it’s time to lose it and get back to running. I miss it so much!
goodnight all. I will join the Feb class too so I can be part of another newbie group.

Late check in this weekend, lots to read!
Sam - sorry you drank and got some rough responses, but 30 days without was great, the January gang are 100% with you!
Calm - food "control" starts tomorrow for me... rather too many carbs for me too in the last month!
Bedtime, have a great, sober time folks...

Ahhh carbs…. Yes I eat way too much carbs too. I could really do with reducing them.
It’s hard though, I get so cranky. And good tips to reduce carbs without the plummeting mood?
I also seem to use carbs to curb alcohol cravings, so that’s a tricky one.

Great RM. Totally agree with you, Willow.
End of Day 78. Today I did IT returns and went for a long walk in the drizzly weather with my little son. We discussed lot of good stuff. Congrats to all milestones today. Good night from Seattle!

Good luck BTG - it's 5:30am here so I think you'll be checked in by now - hope it's going OK. Good luck to the low-carbers - I too am a lapsed runner, but I will start again today! If I don't report a run with my dog later today, please excommunicate me. You can delete me if I don't, Dee - I can't do any more broken promises.
Tynesider - Gan canny, man.
Must dig out my running shoes - this is going to hurt. Happy sober day to all.

Hello all. Newbie here from the UK, checking in. Currently on Day 6 and feeling good!
I see there are fellow low carbers on here. I’m a low carber and intermittent faster. I started it in March 2020 and have dropped down three dress sizes since then.
I used to run a lot but was picking up injuries so I’m now a spinning girl! Five times a week usually.
Have a great Monday!
