Tanky, I know you have been struggling, but sounds like you are making really good progress dealing with your issues. You will come through this a happier person, I'm sure of it!
My daughter got her first Covid vaccine shot yesterday, so we are all well on our way. Now to just convince a lot of the "vaccine hesitant" healthy folks to take the shot. Also hope that the US starts sharing the surplus shots soon with other countries.

Big hugs for you Tanky. I completely understand what you are going through. It's a really rough ride in parts, and it sounds like you are at the really, really hard part of C- PTSD healing. It is also really beautiful in other ways as I'm sure your finding. I'm deeply sorry you are suffering, but you are getting through this, so even if you feel like your not making progress, you are. Many ups and downs, keeping riding those waves, just keep swimming 🐟 stop and paddle/float when you need a breather, as long as your head is above water your smashing this. Eventually you reach the shore, grey passes and the most beautiful colours fill the sky.....because the sun always rises and the storm always passes. There are many rewards on the otherside of tending those deep wounds.
Lixie - it just keeps getting better. I'm practically holding my breath in anticipation. Best, best of luck.

Thanks Zura and Elly for you words of wisdom. I do realise this is important work for me and very much towards healing. I am trying to be gentle with myself, as well. I am stopping to reflect on the progress when I can.
...and today I woke up a lot more “normal”. I had one of my familiar trauma dreams, but in the dream I actually acted to defend myself and woke myself up doing it. Was kinda cool. More good signs I am getting through the patch. I am learning and growing.
Today is day 69 and day 140 for gaming/gambling. That in itself is miraculous given where I have been the past few weeks.

Tanky - That's awesome about the dream, really positive (even if the dream wasn't pleasant) proof of your growth for sure. And congratulations on your milestones 🎉
