Didn't wake up in a funk today which is a good sign for the day. Always lots to do so fingers crossed for a productive day. Hope everyone is doing well xxoo
Glad you are feeling a bit better, Zura. Hope the day went well for you and you were able to do some stuff . And I know I just need to be patient with myself. That things are likely to level out in a couple of weeks. The grey scale will go back to colour.
Feel like there is a conflict between staying in the “now”, staying in present moment , so that I can stay sober for this moment, while not being able to trust my brain in that same present moment.

Tanky - I hope you have a better day today. I get that about people giving advice about something they have no experience of. I was brought up a catholic and even now think how on earth can the priest give advice to couples about marriage, relationships, birth control etc. when he has no experience (well shouldn't have
) of any of it. Still annoys me now if I think of it!

Talk of Celebrating birthdays across time zones made me chuckle. We normally have our main family holiday in the 2 weeks October hols and it is always when Jr RAL's bday is. Last October (2019 not 2020) he and I were in Mexico and he pointed out it was his birthday at home at x o clock. This then went on until the day has ended in Mexico so it was indeed a very long birthday
Not that we ever be going on holiday ever again as we are now officially locked up in the UK from the rest of the world forever! or so it seems. This is never bloody ending. Surely at some point we need to start living with this. All our over 70s have been vaccinated. We are now in the 65-69 group and by May they hope to have all over 50s done. I thought the whole point of the vaccine was so we could live a reasonably normal life without dying. Oh sorry prob the wrong forum for this and just ranting. Just depressed-spoke to my mother last night, not seen her in months . I know eveyrone is in the same position.
Anyway on with the day.xx

Struggling greatly mentally today. I try to stay positive but I must admit I'm finding it extremely difficult lately. Feeling completely weighed down by responsibilities, practical things have been going wrong for a very long time sort of situation and I'm exhausted, feels like I've been ice skating uphill. Ofcourse i try practicing being grateful but it's not working for me, been trying the fake it till you make it but that comes with its hidden negative aspects. So now I'm working hard at acceptance that that's where I'm at. I'm sure everyone here has experienced/is experiencing this so thought I'd share.
