One Year and Under Club Part 65
Good to see you back at it Willow, I'm sorry internet issues deprived you of essential support at tough times. I hope it is sorted now and you come here daily to strengthen your resolve. 😊
I'm glad you made it back, Willow! One day at a time is the only way for me, too. I am so fortunate that my AV has not really had much to say to me lately. I know it could come about any time, though. I am so excited about living the rest of my life sober, and finally getting past the daily struggle that life as a practicing alcoholic was. I don't ever want to get complacent and think that now I'm cured. Every day the most important thing for me is staying sober.
I'm so grateful for SR and for all of you!

I love the freedom of choice that sobriety brings. Before, everything was planned around ensuring I get the next drink, these days I have the flexibility to do anything and it's wonderful. It's so nice to have all my options open

Covered. I was going to google it. And what a great day it was. Today I hope for more good feelings. Food pantry today and some grocery shopping later this morning. Still arranging a ride to see the Dr. tomorrow. My breathing still seems off.
I’m glad you had a good day Wisc
As Dee said, it’s not Father’s Day for a few months here (1st Sunday in September).
I hope you’re feeling better soon. It’s good that you’re organising a check up at the doctors.
I had a really busy day yesterday, but today is less crazy, so I’m going to try to get some housework done. Cleaning the bathroom is first on the list, but I’m pretty good at procrastinating when it comes to housework, so I’ll have to be firm with myself

It's tough Willow, housework always needs done so it's easy to say well I can do it tomorrow! I've totally lost my routine since Mr T has been lurking around the house so much! 🤣 I decided life is short for house work when there is a golf course out there calling me to play!

Got to the food pantry and grocery store. Paid back a small debt and submitted some bills. Couldn't get a ride to the Dr.'s but I do have video calls this week for the dietitian and psychiatrist. New Dr. appt. in July. Breathing isn't labored just shallow. Want to do some recovery reading or audio. Seems we all think the same about housekeeping. Did quite a bit Sunday, but not Monday. Need to sort and put away food.
I used to get breathless due to seasonal allergies and found yogic breathing exercises really helped me; breathing from the stomach increased my lung capacity. Singers learn it too.
Hope you managed to get a better sleep Wisc. Glad the video conferencing seems to e working, I think that'll be the way a lot of Dr appointments will start to go moving forward now.
