Wow! She is indeed! And thank you for sharing too, Suze. It's always an encouragement to hear these success stories.

My hubby wasn't that lucky---He says---Babs you read it---so, I do
and then things make sense.
He still is not drinking but, getting frustrated with his meds. and of course
the two of us under the same roof for a long time is a challenge. I have thought about drinking maybe once and then kick that off the shoulder right away. I don't need that on top of everything else right now.
Just so glad to know you guys are here.....
Babs

Babs maybe you can find some time for some meditation, centring yourself regularly just now would probably help you to persevere.

Meditation is a great suggestion. Can you get outside at all, Babs? Do you have a yard you can spend time in? A lot of people are struggling being cooped in with their partners, nerves are being frayed for sure, and on top of it you have your hubby's health issues to deal with - self care is so important right now! And now, more than ever, you need a sober, clear mind so I'm so happy you're ignoring any cravings.

I thought this thread had finally given up the ghost (whatever that means!). So I missed the last bunch of posts.

Babs, besides staying home, you are going through lots of other changes with your h and his situation. Imho, this is an especially important time to take care of yourself. Thinking of you and sending *hugs*.

Duff, it seems like most of us know someone who is dyslexic. For me it is my niece and nephew on my ex’s side. They are both over achievers but went through much frustration in their early years. It’s not easy. Sending *hugs* to you, too!.

Hi Toots! I caught this reincarnation faster because I know how your mind works at least some of the time
I am tired of lockdown and may decide to drive my car around the parking lot sometime this week!
Sending hugs to all.

Are you not allowed to go for a drive if you don't get out of the car?

Hi Toots! Hi everyone!
We've gotten into a routine with schooling. It's nice to spend the extra time with them. They're at their dad's this week, though, so I get a break lol.
Sass, are they talking about lifting your lockdown soon? How about everyone else?
I never felt like anyone has taken it that seriously where I am in South Florida so I'm not expecting much to change when they do start opening up here. I know what I have to do and I'll keep doing it. I can't control what others choose do to, just take extra care on my end.

I feel the same way Duff.

We are only open partially here but somehow my landlady managed to get her hair done on Saturday? So I am thinking people are refusing to obey the rules. I was feeling pretty upset about it non-stop......how selfish of people to not care if they could potentially give someone else this virus.

I know, Suze. It is upsetting yet I'm just not surprised.
