So glad I did, even though the neighbors were getting a new roof, and on the other side of the fence 90 homes are being built—and the giant earthmovers were going all day. I am adjusting well and have earplugs or headphones on at all times of the day when home. I’m looking forward to the end of these projects. It won’t last forever. I was just glad not to have to suit up for work! And I love to learn..especially with people just like me. I had no idea I had so many work doppelgängers across the US and world. All the VoVos with the same skills and experience with different accents in different time zones! It was grounding.
I’m lonely. I just can’t fit everything in. Family situation is very sad and stressful, work keeps escalating, I have a house to take care of on my own, it’s a lot. I’ve put my health and relationships on the back burner..the things that usually keep me going. But I’m still going, sober and feel ok sometimes. It’s just day to day. I’m still in here somewhere.
Things are going to change.

Chiming in at 0558 for 24 hours of sobriety.
Russians liberate Auschwitz 75 years ago.

Coronavirus very serious....but remember to guard against influenza...it's really bad here in WI and there's been 60 deaths just in WI.
Happy to have rejoined this thing called life.
