I do need to work more on staying present. When I get overwhelmed, I forget. So meditation is definitely something I need to do more of. I did a course a few years ago but I didn’t keep practicing! So I will dig out my notes and get back to it. As it turned out, I ended up getting called to work and was quite busy, which took me out of my head and into the tasks at hand. I was calmer later and went to bed early to catch up on much needed sleep. I think sleep deprivation really messes with my head and my ability to cope with anything. The amazing wonders of a good night’s sleep
I’m here for another 24 please and so grateful to have a month under my belt again

The sun was out today and I enjoyed a long walk in the snow in a state park just miles from my home. Rows & rows of majestic pine trees and birds flitting among the trees. Just gorgeous! The gifts of sobriety just keep on giving

Got so much to catch up on it’s not even funny! I’m not ignoring anyone that has on their checking in, been a source of encouragement or what have you. Thank you & will do my best to read em ASAP
