I bought a $22 artificial tree --5 ft tall --for our kitty's. Then put an old, but pretty tree skirt underneath. Oh, my little sweetheart Sara is so happy!! She really seems to remember all the Christmas' past! OR I do ... either way she spent most the day napping happily underneath the branches.
This is our 2nd year without our regular tree & decorations. The younger cat, Olive, is still too much a "kitten". You know the scene .... hearing something climbing up the center, hearing ornaments tumbling & breaking ... Maybe Christmas 2020??

I helped my mom put her tree up last week.....Brat cat is 4 so he's kinda like "whatever" now.....more like "What are you putting that up for? I'm the real decoration!"
Attenion animal lovers: For anyone interested, one of my favorite shows called "Amanda to the Rescue" will be on Animal Planet all day starting at noon (eastern US time), then a program called "Give a Dog a Home" (see link below) followed by Amanda's season finale!

Ha! Bobbi-that’s our house too!! We are attempting to put up the tree today too. I had to buy some shatterproof ornaments this year. Hoping there are no casualties.

Don't decorate with tinsel if you have cats...can morbidly bind their innards. They just don't know better.
Making it 12 weekends of sober college and pro football. Just thinking of the drinking I did wears me out.
