Checking in at a reasonable time today! Its been a really rough few days but counselling and a meeting yesterday, which really helped. I'm still sober!!

Morning all. Its 8.55 am here in the UK. Please count me in for another 24 hours sober and clean. Congratulations to those celebrating a milestone, my thoughts and prayers go out to those suffering and struggling.

Lovely morning so far. Got an email from the school saying my daughter has been selected to represent the school at our local Remembrance day parade on Sunday. Super proud. And then I went online to book tickets for me and my son to meet giraffes at Chester Zoo for his 13th birthday. His birthday isn't until May but the giraffes are really popular and tickets to meet them sell out months in advance. I put a note on the calendar to remind me when next year's tickets go on sale and so now we will be meeting the giraffes next May! He's so happy and excited. He wants to work with animals when he's older and I love that I'm able to support his interests and help provide him with opportunities to meet these incredible creatures. Plus I get to meet giraffes too!! Love to everyone and 24 more for me please xxx ps.... Bit of giraffe humour for a Wednesday .... What do you call a royal giraffe? Your high-ness!! Sorry

In for 24 more hours at 0520 --- sobriety please with a side of motivation and creativity.
All of your posts are wonderful....It feels good to read posts about parenting and "not" feel guilt and shame about what I did or as much.
I am proud of my 3 boys...they are in their 30s and have done well throughout life. Four grandchildren and two foster children.
Waiting on the snow....it's already late but knocking.
My caring for all of you.....have a great day.

6:55am, checking in for another 24. Sounds like it’s going to be really miserably cold the rest of the week with snow tomorrow. Would love nothing more than a day off under the covers. Hopefully Friday. Until then, congratulations to everyone celebrating milestones today.
