Morning everyone 😊
Checking in for another 24 hours sober please
My Mum is 80 today so taking her out for lunch with my sister
This year will be a far cry from last year when I had 2 glasses of wine before I even met for lunch. I know I had them as I remember the 2 mini bottles. 1 before leaving and 1 driving down ( I'm ashamed to admit to this)
She doesn't know I've quit drinking, I've never said. All I know is that she used to ring my husband at work regularly to ask how much I was drinking because she was so worried about me and knew that I was drinking excessively. I don't know if she has rang him recently, I've not asked him.
I will be sober today to celebrate her birthday 😊
