I saw Ekhart Tolle at the Royal Albert Hall this evening. Incredible night. And it was sold out. So fantastic to be with so many like-minded souls, all in the same place. He's an incredible speaker, I've got so much to think about. And one thing he said really hit home ...he was talking about how we use our phones as an extension of our minds and suddenly I realised.... I look at my phone far too much. Way too much. I'm not on Facebook or Instagram or Snapchat or Twitter or any of those other things I don't understand but I am addicted to BBC news. I check the news all the time. It's not healthy and it's going to stop. I'm going to try to moderate because BBC news isn't alcohol so maybe it's possible to moderate my news consumption. I'll soon see. My plan is to look at the news twice tomorrow for 10 minutes max. If I can't stick to that, I might have to stop looking at it altogether. I'll see how I go. Ekhart Tolle said so many brilliant things and over the next few days I'll try to remember things he said and share it here. Love to everyone and 24 more for me please xxxx

sI think you are on the right track for sure.....and I think moderation is most definitely the goal....I know for me, I have to read the texts and emails that come in....they are from my bank or school mostly. But I try to limit myself....I like to play Solitaire, and I now only ever let myself play for maybe 15 minutes a day. It used to be way more than that.
And how magical that must have been.....hearing Ekhart Tolle speak up close....betting that is something you will never forget.

sI made breakfast in bed, took it upstairs on a tray, and then gave him the rest of his presents.
I was a touch nervous....I have never bought clothing for someone before that I chose. It was 3 Harley T-shirts, and he loved all of them. He has been wearing the first part of his gift for a couple of weeks now....a silver Harley watch.
So the day started well for the birthday boy.
He is on his way to work now.
