Thank you for the hugs MsV! When it’s slow @ work, no matter how hard I try not to think about the back pain, I still do; but when busy then my mind is of course preoccupied. Slept in & feeling rested

Hello Fellow Buddies,
Its 9th Day sober for me!
Feeling great! And you people know what? I managed to stay sober in a party with all my alcoholic buddies last night.
I understood its not difficult to stay sober in parties when you feel the freedom of being non alcoholic.

No one or anything to blame.
I can try and blame everything and everyone for my drinking. But I reality absolutely no one or any event/circumstance holds me down and forces the drink down my throat. I go to store, I open the can and bring it to my mouth, take a swing and swallow, then repeat, repeat, repeat.....the outcome is always exactly the same, no matter the reason why I chose to drink. Goodmoring all friends, and thank you for the support. Today I choose sobriety, day 2.

Hi 24'ers, 24 more for me please & thanks,
I realised this morning that I didn't check in yesterday...however the good reason is I stopped looking at the trashed house and got on with it. Got obsessed with every minor detail of mess and finally had to stop late evening. Still not finished because believe me when I drink I don't do it neatly
Got my recycling out & ashamed to count how many wineboxes went in it. Then got paranoid that my neighbours might go and count them
My brain is seriously wacky!!!
Anyway loads more to continue with today, so better get on. Congratulations and best wishes to those of you celebrating milestones today
And finally my Love and Thanks for the Love & support I have received from you all, means a lot to me when I am feeling like something on the bottom of someone's shoe.
Today IS a better day. It's day 3 and I'd Love another 24 please & thanks.
