Class of January 2019 Part One
Ashamed to be crawling back here. I actually have no idea when I had my last drink, sometime yesterday. I can’t keep doing this. Off work with depression, but as we all know - alcohol negates the tablets.
Thanks for the welcome, Dee.
Day 9. I started this in November, and have made bad choices a few times. But overall, I’ve spent most of November and December sober, because I keep trying. No matter what, we keep getting back up.
I’m tired of my bad choices though, and I really want to commit to this. I like myself better when I have a clear head. So no excuses, this whole sobriety thing is happening.

Welcome! I recognize a few names, and I’m so glad we’re recommitting to sobriety. It’s a tough journey, but we are worth the fight!
Woke up in 2019 hangover free and ready to start the new year as a sober woman.
I’ve had a few short stretches of sober time in 2018; 54 days back in Feb/March and 35 back in November were my longest. I basically drank the entire month of December after I decided to have a “few” glasses of wine late November. I find it harder and harder to stop each time I return, so I’m going to arm myself with more sober tools and really work on my thinking again to turn this around fully and for good. I had a great conversation with my husband and in full disclosure, I told him exactly how much wine I had been drinking, and the secretive way In which I hid it from him. He is completely on board with trying to help me. Very thankful for that.
I look forward to getting to know you all. Enjoy your day!
