Hope you are enjoying our N. American winters,Suze.
I will be staying in and watching some football. My Patriots play the Chiefs today at 6 pm.
I'll have to get the driveway and steps cleared off.
Every thing is going to freeze solid tonight. Insane wind chills later tonight and tomorrow.

Keep safe Bob. Hope your woodpile is well stocked up.

Same for everyone, keep safe if you’re in the bad weather zones.

Pillowcases in the freezer bedsheets anything you need cold or cool stick it in the freezer cucumber on the eyes sunscreen etc - kool n sooth for headaches and plenty of water guys I can't imagine what a aussie heatwave is like I know the standard summers would turn me tomato red so I'd probably be burnt to a crisp out in that

What is the highest ever temp recorded in the outback in Oz is that where it is hottest ?

Cheap air conditioning put a bowl of cold water near a fan with ice cubes - and if all else fails damp t-shirt in a dark room

Sorry guys

I like a cold hot water bottle when it gets too warm.

Hope your truck started ok Bob. How’s Toby liking the cold, does he send you out to work whilst staying warm in the house and of course, guarding it for you too!.

Have a good day

Ooh, interesting question Wolfie, I just looked it up!

The highest maximum temperature was recorded as 50.7 °C (123.3 °F) at Oodnadatta on 2 January 1960, which is the highest official temperature recorded in Australia.

Oodnadatta is in South Australia where PJ and I live. But it’s far North.
The other day , 15 of the hottest places in the world were in Australia. Most of them were in South Australia.

We live n the driest state in the driest continent in the world.

It is going to be a massive 44 degrees Celsius on Thursday, I’m dreading it.

I hope you are keeping cool Pj xxx

Oh Snoozy, I know you’ll be taking it easy, no pulling trees up in this weather! You too PJ, Dee and CW. Cool is the order of the day, or week, please.

Yes, Dee and I are just ‘normally’ sweating, not too extreme. Lol

The idea of freezing rain sounds wonderful in theory, Bob.

I am okay- in lock down until the heat lifts. Hand is a tad swollen, but all okay.
I hope your parents are okay, Snooz.

Also your animals, and of course- you.
