I am off for a walk, the small zoo up the road has Christmas lights and, I think, music on. It's a nice but not exhausting walk and my neighbour is going with me.

I have been grateful, more than once, for the censorship; when I looked back at the word I intended to type (which in no way would have been censorable) and which my fat fingers probably typed, I realized that I would have died of embarrassment right then and then had it not been censored.

I got an invitation to a church ladies’ Christmas party that I’m just not going to make. I was feeling a bit pressurized, because I’ve pretty much stopped doing church social things.

But tomorrow is the day that we’re decorating our house. It took a lot of finagling to settle on Saturday. Apparently this church party has been well advertised for weeks to, but I honestly never knew about it. Plus I would have to make time to get a small gift somewhere for the gift exchange, and I don’t have time.

People don’t understand that I really am a shell of my former self.

Kathy you should not feel pressure to do anything you do not want to. You have a lovely family time planned and that comes first. You do whats best for YOU.
