I will now add that I'm thankful for the concept of gratitude. I suck at it but I'm trying. I was/am thankful that I have an opportunity on this day to go somewhere for a meal. That is now in doubt due to car issues, but if I didn't have a car I couldn't even get there. So many people don't even a "there" to go. I'm thankful that it was an option even though it seems I can't make it.

It's not much but it's a start.

I think part of my prob- has been my mind set. I used to think art was a thing people 'had' or not. Inherent talent.
The School of Art- teaches skill sets- which anyone (even me) can learn.

Surgery on the 6th.

I don't agree. At all. I think it is inherent talent that can be honed. You have it or you don't. YOU, my lovely friend.....most definitely HAVE IT. And can be taught the regimented stuff that makes art teachers happy. But as Ann always says.... (now)...."no one ever said: Vincent, there are too many stars....."

And if they did, they were mistaken.

Surgery is on my calendar love. xxxx

PJ's and TV time friends. Even though the Thanksgiving weekend has got TV scheduling all screwed up. Not one episode of BBT tonight. Not one!!!

Speaking of talent ~ I may have mentioned this before, but I used to think the same thing, PJ.....that either you're born with it or not. Until I read Sully's book.....turns out he was never a singer until he taught himself to sing....he said he "sucked for a really long time" to the point where the guys would walk out of the room 'cause he sounded so bad. But he didn't give up.....now I think he sounds pretty damn good!

Startin' fluid time.....seems I haven't stayed close enough!

No BBT......yes, I noticed, with huge disappointment....I am completely up to date now......I love love love the girls....all 3 of them....such a brilliant show.
