So happy to know you're feeling 100% better. Can't ask for more than that.

Suze, yes they can do that. In communal living situations for the elderly, the flu can rip right through and as we get older it can easily be fatal. Hence the precautions. Lots of challenges in aging!

Kathy, good to hear you are feeling better today

It's the duty of the elders who know the language to keep it alive among the young. Raw prawns for kids!

Glad you're feeling better today Kathy. I'm not 100% certain but I don't think I have ever had the flu. Now i've posted that i'll probably catch it first thing tomorrow

Saoutchic, you would KNOW if you had the flu...I hope you are one of those lucky people who are naturally immune.

Kathy, I hope Sunday is being good to you. There is something about your mountain place the keeps you well, I think. Stick with it.

Actually, as the day wore on I got weaker and more body-achey.

The guests have left. They were the best, most fun houseguests I think we've ever had!

We're packing up now to go home.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well again. Maybe you can sleep on the way home?
On the other hand, I know you were a bit ambivalent about the weekend, so I'm thrilled you had such a good time with your guests.
Feel better, love.
