Good Morning Kathy et al. I hope you will have a good day today and the side effects of the flu shot are fading. I had my senior flu shot on Saturday and I believe it's the first time I ever had side effects, other than a sore arm. The pharmacist informed that they added immunization for a new strain of flu they expected to surface. I had an awful headache, body aches, sore throat and felt like I was getting a cold. Today I feel a bit better. I've had the flu twice in my long life - not something I want to go through again. I wonder why some folks can have side effects if the virus is supposed to be dead?
