I would like to be helpful to you guys but I don’t know how
One of the slogans that I used a lot in my first year was “this too should pass”
Another was going to aa meetings a lot
Another slogan that I used lately is “ no pick that first drink”
One that still works is coming here SR 24 and promise that for today I will stay sober
God is being in my corner and he give me strength to keep going even went I don’t want or feel like keep going.

Love and hugs fellow travelers in the sobriety journey.
These are great suggestions Erfra.
Life sure does throw some awful stuff at us sometimes that’s for sure. Sometimes it totally sucks. My heart goes out to everyone suffering ❤️ I’m really grateful for everyone here on SR , such amazing people and support here ❤️
I hope you get some sleep soon, the hot chocolate might help. I used to drink horlicks when I couldn’t sleep. I should try it again, I’ve been having lots of trouble sleeping lately too

Proud of you ShenzyT.
Friday nights were difficult for me for a loooong time. Sober will soon be your normal comfortable default I promise you that. Keep fighting in the meantime and don't forget to post before you get too crazy with the AV attack. It really does help ❤❤❤

It’s one crazy bumpy up and down and sometimes scary ride

6:28 am

Here for another sober day. I just checked my sobriety counter and I'm at 466 days. I can't wait to be able to say that about the binge eating too.
I feel a bit lighter today, in terms of struggle even though the food hangover is really awful. I am so foggy in my head, so tired and lethargic and I've got a pretty long day ahead of me.

Going for a 90 minute, full body workout soon, then I drop my oldest off for a playdate and then I have an eye exam at 12. After that I work from 1:30-9:30. I am enjoying work a lot but these later shifts are a bit hard to get used to as I'm usually in my pajamas around 7!

I'm not complaining. I wanted part time work and I found a way to make it happen without paying for childcare which is pretty darn amazing considering I am getting about 25 hours per week.

My husband and I are not in a good place as we haven't really had a conversation in about a week now. I'm not sure what is going on. We are like 2 ships in the night I suppose.

I'm glad this last eclipse is over and I'm hoping that I can start shifting something around at this point. I bought a guided explanataion of the ecplise complete with slides and Q&As from my favorite astrologer (Anne Ortelee) but it was over 2 hours long and I couldn't find my natal chart so I only listened to part of it. I found this, this morning and it seems accurate. I am a Leo and these last 2 months have been really hard for me:

" Leo and Aquarius will be effected the most by this eclipse, followed by fellow fixed, stubborn signs Taurus and Scorpio. If you have access to your personal birth chart and have any planets or points at 15º - 21º Leo, you will also feel this eclipse’s impact!"

Enough for now, need to get ready for the gym. Love you guys, have a great day!
