Thank you guys for all the love—I feel it for you all, too. I am so grateful that you’ve been here for me.
And Michael, I’ve always loved your rose photographs, but these drawings are out of this world! Thank you for sharing them!

Hope the wedding went well, Kathy.
Don’t ever feel a fraud, just enjoy the love and friendship. ❤️
I drove up and then back down (don’t know how I ever dared!) Mount Tedi in Tenerife. Gosh there were some hairy, scary moments, especially as I was driving!

Thanks, Dee, I did!
We are dear friends of the bride’s parents. The second the ceremony ended the father of the bride shoved a good cigar in my hand!
I chatted with many friends, some I hadn’t seen in ten years.
I had one brief bad nostalgia moment—I saw an empty plastic drink glass with three limes in it, and I thought, someone obviously can’t handle the taste of gin!
And I had a brief pang of nostalgia for my former favorite go-to summer evening drink, a gin and tonic. And then I saw that my husband was drinking one, too (he’s not much for alcohol—I think the only reason he took it is because it had a lime)!
It always makes me uncomfortable to see him drink. He doesn’t enjoy even a small buzz, but lately he’s been drinking to be social more and more.
Granted, he nursed the same drink all night—but still.
Anyway, the jovial and very tipsy dad spotted me and shoved another cigar in my hand!
What could I do but accept?
Anyway, a female friend of mine got up and started dancing and she wanted me to join her—so I did. She’s been depressed lately, so I think it did her a lot of good to cut loose.
I was very rusty at first, and I’m used to classic rock—but I eventually got back into it. Soon other friends of both genders joined us, and altogether I ended up lasting for 45 minutes!
I didn’t quit because I was tired or hurting, but rather because I was sweating like a pig!
My hair was a total frizzy, lopsided mess by the time I got out of there!
Now I’m headed to bed.

Sounds like a good time had by all Kathy.
Have a restful sleep night night.
P.S. my hair goes absolutely frizzy when I get hot or the weather is humid! Did you ever see the friends episode when Monica is playing table tennis? Yeah, that’s like my hair gets.. No Kidding!

Ha! I’ll have to look that one up, Mags.
As expected, I’m experiencing repercussions from the exertion last night. Sore hamstrings and back muscles!
Three back-to-back activities today; not my favorite way to do things, but unavoidable today.
