Half 5am here and warm, (up since 3am but happy pottering about :-)) Learned I got my dream job yesterday - I start on Monday, my 6 months sobriety date exactly. Couldn't have done it 6 months ago and I couldn't have done it without you guys.

Yixi - that's fantastic!! 6 months and dream job!! You're obviously doing something VERY right - keep doing it.
So wonderful to meet the awesomely fabulous Jo and her excellent family yesterday. It weirdly felt like I'd known her for years. The connections we make on this thread are very real. And tonight I get to meet Orlando Bloom!! OK, so I'm not actually meeting him but I am going to the theatre to watch him in a play. Jo Jo ..... Orlando....... so many superstars. ... good things happen when we stop drinking!!

Morning all. Its 7.45am here in the UK. Please count me in for another 24 hours sober and clean. Congratulations to those celebrating a milestone, my thoughts and prayers go out to those suffering and struggling.

Good morning sweetie pies!
Oh what a first day we had in London! It's a huge crazy busy city and then of course to top it off I met the wonderful force of nature that is our darling Kenton. What a woman!
I honestly think if we didn't have our kiddies to look after we could have chatted non stop all night and not come up for breath!
But somehow it meant so much more than that. Here we were together in person chatting like friends and sharing our lives and joy and freedom. Miraculous yes?
Better get up Melly has been awake since 5.30 excited to see the Queen!
