Well, Saturday night.
I donated plasma again this week passed....meaning I have achieved my goal of giving back my body fluid volume...but will keep going...15 visits- 10 successful donation. Ialso share a little of my story- on an app that will be available to patients in ICU type settings- to help them with isolation...something I know only too well. The study is going well. Saw art school counsellor- just to make a connection, then my recovery counsellor- for a n overlap.
Went to my home group - all very interested and supportive of my new direction in life. I have a new sense of purpose.

Hi guys. Been away for a bit. Happy to be checking back in.
Left AZ on June 30. Just got back today. Some vaca, but mostly work. Happy to be home. It’s 8:00pm and I’m going to bed

Long day. Big day to meet objectives with study- my brain goes into shutdown when it seems I do not make progress- and then the low self esteem and you are a failure feelings kick in. Like a wave. So when I feel crap- I stop studying, do HALTS- do housework or whatever- then go back to it. I also fought off a doozy of a migraine.
So study, crap feeling, meds- mig. (progressive..take med x when needed, no narcs) HALTS, do something else.
Then back to study...
rinse repeat

Litmus test tomorrow, Dee. Last week was a breeze- first lectures...no homework. I am doing okay and knew this was going to be challenging. I suppose also I have poured a lot into this and cannot let fear of failure turn into a self fulfilling prophecy.

If you guys could keep Nathan in your thoughts. He is 118 days clean today but it seems like lately life has just been challenging him with everything. Pray for his strength to get through this. I know it will be better on the other side. Thanks.
