Speaking of baked goods, since it was ANZAC Day yesterday, I felt like eating ANZAC biscuits—but I was too busy.

A couple weeks ago I smelled a delicious aroma from my tenant’s place, and I knew it must be ANZAC biscuits.

Whenever either of us bakes something good, we always bring a little over to the other; however, this time she didn’t share.

Turned out that she had to provide the snacks for her community group that night, so she probably baked them for that and didn’t have extra..

Even so, it was a deep bummer!

That pie looks delicious Leigh.
There are some wild bramble bushes not far away. I may go pick some and make a pie or crumble.mmmmm.

Gilmer, when I saw Anzac Day yesterday it jogged my memory to something but I couldn’t think what. You’ve just reminded me, it was your Anzac biscuits of course.

Have a good Friday. Only at work until dinner time today. Going to Doncaster hospital with hubby, he’s got an eye appointment and won’t be able to drive home.

Now you’re just tempting us, Leigh.❤️

Just drove back from Doncaster hospital, hubby had appointment and wasn’t allowed to drive after so I drove back. The motorway was a nightmare. Not just big HGV’s but the spray from them made it seem like fog. Got home safely though, I’m pleased to say.
