No it's not my 1 year sober birthday. But the fight to get though each minute last year was the hardest thing I ever did.
It was that experience which showed me without a shadow of a doubt that if I didn't stop I would die. The excruciating fear was horrendous.
So I am reflecting a little and more grateful than ever to be sober at last.
Lots of love to you all please may I have another 24 ❤❤❤
We love you, JoJo!!!!!!

We absolutely knew that you could do it!!!!!!

Sweet Victory!!!

Someone walked into my 11 year old son's room earlier, unplugged his brand new alarm clock and hid it in a drawer. After extensive searching we found it hidden in the drawer. Seems to me like an odd thing to do but here's the thing that's driving me nuts. .. no one is owning up. I know it wasn't me and I know it wasn't the dog. I also don't think it was the youngest two kids because it's not really their MO.... when they're naughty, they don't care who sees it..... besides, they've been in the paddling pool ever since they got home from school and there were no little wet footprints on the bedroom floor..... I'm taking this investigation very seriously. So, that means it was either my 13 year old daughter who is constantly fighting with her 11 year old brother making her a prime suspect. Her bedroom is next door to his... she had the opportunity and motive (she doesn't like him). Alternatively, maybe my 11 year old son hid his clock himself in order to get his sister into trouble. I just offered an amnesty.... tell me the truth in the next 5 minutes.... I honestly don't care about a hidden clock but I do care about dishonesty.... or you will both be sent to bed early and there will be no tv for either of you after school tomorrow. I hope someone tells me the truth.... I love family movie time on Friday nights. But I have to stand by my word. 5 minutes is up so I'm off to see what they have to say. I wonder who it was. I'm intrigued and hopeful... and unbiased. Although if I had to bet on it, my money would be on the teenager ..... off to find out xxx

Oooooo, I know what I would do. Ground them both....gently.....say OK, seeing that no one owned up we are all going to cop the punishment....so here's what it is....and everyone misses out. Now, with a bit of honesty, we can fix that. Up to you.

PS. I think it was your teenage daughter....girls are sneaky clever.

I'm on pins now waiting to find out if it's been resolved.
My eldest is a maestro liar when she wants to be. She once cheated in a school exam (let a friend see her answer) and lied and lied to my face that she hadn't. The invigilator witnessed it and I was crushed she had lied. Only when I told her she'd been seen by a teacher did she eventually confess.
It was a hard reality check that she lied about it to my face but if I am brutally honest she learned from the best.
Sometimes parenting is tough (((((Kenton)))))

Yep, it was my 13 year old daughter. She maintained her innocence for quite a while and only cracked when my husband got home from work and threatened to take away her phone and all my son's books about cheetahs (he's obsessed with cheetahs) until someone confessed. So she confessed but apparently there were good reasons for hiding the clock in the drawer.... apparently it was ticking loudly (it's silent) and disturbing her from doing her homework (don't make me laugh!!) Anyway, we got a confession so now we can put the hidden clock mystery behind us... my son can read about cheetahs, my daughter can face time her mates and moan about me and everyone can watch TV tomorrow. Phew! Humans. .... aren't we an odd bunch? Love you all xxxx

Yes.....we are....but are you sure the clock is silent? My hearing is super sensational and I hear things other people can't....it may not be your teen's fault that she is superhuman....just saying....

PS I just took my car out by myself....it's freakin awesome I tell you.....FREEEEEEEEEEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The wrong side of the road is not that bad really....I mean, everything here is backwards so it kind of makes sense.
