Absolutely!

Any of the people i have confided in state congrats and how much i have accomplished. It does make a man(woman) feel good to be sober and not in the throes of addiction any longer. ODAAT.

Have a great day Jack!
Definately in agreement. Its also quite beautiful how a sober life sort of unfurls like a flower coming into bloom. Today, after quite a few difficult weeks/months with grown up children problems, so much so that i had discussed best course of action moving forward with a counsellor, well today whilst walking the dogs i realised that my thinking was becoming "grounded" and assured. When i was drinking my thought process was insecure and veiled in guilt. No way could i have behaved like the matriach of the family whereas now i most certainly feel i can. I knew my body would suck up the non alcohol lifestyle but i never, for one minute, realised just HOW much my thinking had been altered and affected by booze. For that i am truly grateful for my sobriety. Its only because of my sobriety that i can appreciate this. Love y'all. Xx

I'll be going up in May to visit both my parents.

Checking in for the next 24.

May your dad have many more years to enjoy! Enjoy seeing both your parents in May.

Right, standing on one leg is starting to hurt and the owl is giving me funny looks so I'm outta here. Congrats milestones, 24 more for me please xxxx
Enjoy some peace and serenity. Thinking of you!

Makes me think of when i get back home. You just yell across the gulleys and hills. Or you can go out into the middle of the lake and get reception.
