Yup I know, AV never sleeps, I had brief drinking thoughts because ‘celebration’, but nothing intense. Oh it’s my birthday in five days, and I’m so excited to celebrate it sober for the first time since I was 14. How cool is that!

Good morning team August! 1030 on a Sunday morning and I’ve already been out for breakfast and had a walk round the park. When I was drinking I hated Sundays and usually started drinking asap. It makes me sad that I’ve missed so many sober Sundays in my life but at the same time I am grateful to have them now.
Sounds like your trip back to Ireland wasn’t meant to be this time Vman, sorry about the mix up.

Hey everyone ~ still hanging in there but I can't seem to get through the weekends lately....hoping to get back on track by joining the June 2018 class but I'll be around....y'all aren't getting rid of me that easily! 
Weekends are hard, but it gets easier; there's so much more to life than drinking it away. You can do it, Purps!! It's worth it. Mr

It's back to work for me this week. Seen as I was supposed to be on holidays my agenda is pretty cool

Hey everyone. Glad you are sticking around too purps, it’s al2ays good to see your posts. Snuf is right, weekends to get easier, it all does get easier with time. snuf, can’t wait to hear about your results.
Don’t work too hard Vinny, I don’t go back till Monday. I have to say my wee holiday has been wonderful. Great weather and seeing my wee guy every day has been a joy. Things would be so different if I was drinking!
