Hi everyone. Nice to see everyone doing well.
Good news is I have 90 days but bad news is I fired my sponsor. Her rigidity and "my way or the highway" attitude proved to be too much for me. I don't do well with an authoritarian style. I was on my 4th step and apparently it's a common stage to quit the steps. I haven't thrown in the towel completely, but I'm in no hurry to find a new sponsor.
Phil got his 90 days yesterday and he's still going strong. Other than an occasional fight, we are doing good. We went to Lake Tahoe last weekend and it was great. He's good to me.
Today I'm going to a Refuge Recovery meeting and really looking forward to the meditation.
Dee - I really like the middle distance analogy. I find that visualization really helpful. Thanks.
