Hi everyone! I'm really sorry I wasn't able to post regularly. I needed to "get things together on my own" -- if that makes sense!

I feel really good and have over a month sober now and I'm not going back. My hangovers became intolerable. I learned that there are other ways to "feel good" and relieve anxiety without making yourself sick. Amazing that it took so long for it to click, but it did.

I'm not sure who's still on this thread, but hi to all!! I have a busy day on tap going shopping with my daughter and doing some bills/paperwork

Nichole, I'm thinking of you and hope you post soon x

Congrats on day 76 PalmerSage! That's 2 & 1/2 months, awesome job I hope your weather is better and the wind has died down. It's windy here today but nothing like what you had/are having. I hope you're having a good day.

Thanks for checking in Barbs! I'm glad things are going well and that Lucy loves camping, dogs are so much fun

Hi Juno, congrats on over a month! It's good to see you posting. Enjoy your day shopping

Congrats on 9 weeks and a day Bob! Super great job!

Canguy, I think it might be Monday where you are. If so, have a great Monday and start to your week

Strawberry, I'm glad you're posting. Don't give up, were all in this together.

Hi Chloe, Dee, JustTony and everyone else

Thanks PalmerSage, yesterday was 90 days! It was a good day, my brother's party went well and they cheesecake turned out good. It wasn't as pretty as my mom's, but it tasted good so it was ok. They were all drinking beer and for some reason it was really hard not to join them. But this morning, I'm glad I didn't. That's one thing about being sober, the mornings are so much better.

Today I am doing stuff around the house. I need to run the dishwasher again and find places to put everything. My parents gave me and my brother/sister in law a bunch of kitchen items a while back, stuff they no longer used, and now I've run out of space. Same for the linen closet. If I get motivated, I might go through that too. Other than that, not much going on for me today.

I hope everyone is having a good day/evening

I survived my trip to the big city to meet an old friend, she doesn't really drink anymore as she seems to have become slightly allergic to it, I think she always was really.. So we had a girly slumber party instead!
It was a big deal for me as we went to a bar about 5ish and drink coffee, then out for dinner and had a soft drink, I never ever ever could imagine not drinking when going to a restaurant but now I have that sober experience..
Day 10...

I'm glad you're ok and posting Nichole.

Hi Red, the slumber party and the dinner out both sound fun Congrats on day 10!

Thanks Dee

My day wasn't as productive as I had hoped. I did some laundry and got the dishes washed but not put away. Did nothing with the linen closet. I took a nap from 6-8 tonight and will try to go to bed by midnight. I need to get on a better sleep schedule.

I hope everyone has a happy & sober week

Congratulations Maggie....only a couple to 90. (There's always another day to reach for....)
Good you are still goin too Nichole....just get through the first bit and it'll get easier.
All we can do is just keep rolling along...

Good luck with the March mob Tony...if you can do 50 once you can do it again.

On we go.....

emme, good for you for pushing through and staying sober at the party, and I'm with you on the "off" sleep patterns. I seriously love my naps, but sometimes I think they're not doing me any favors when I can't fall asleep at a decent time at night.

Day 77 here. I had a rough weekend in terms of thoughts of drinking, and not maintaining my good habits (namely exercise). I'm happy to be back in a weekday routine, where my time is a bit more structured and feels more productive. I hope everyone has a great day!
