How long did it take for people's body's to feel normal again when they stopped drinking? I think half of my problem is I don't drink enough water. Just seeing how other people adjusted?
Thanks,

When I relapsed in 2014, I went insane for around 2 months, I do not even remember it, and it took me a good few weeks to recover that time. At least 2 weeks to be at all OK and probably a good 4 weeks to really feel good.
But everyone is different.
Let yourself sleep as much as you need and can and eat healthy food.
Every day it will get a little better I think. ♥
Not feeling fantastic today, the terrible news from FL has me down. My heart breaks for those poor families. Working on feeling grateful, but I just want to do SOMETHING to make a difference.
Sober, at any rate.

You can love.....we all can. Every time you don't walk past someone on the street who is in trouble....someone who is mentally handicapped or hungry or drunk....you are making a difference. People feel ignored....there is way too much pain and anger.....love and caring means everything. We are in a unique position in recovery.....we know what it's like to hurt....put your beautiful Vikingness out in the world.....make sourdough for a homeless shelter.....
You make a difference every day....we all do. Let's just be aware of the positive force we can be.
Err...hopping off soapbox.

24 for me....another interesting day..art first, where I finish a big canvas that will be a 'flyer' for my March exhib. in a local community centre in the city.
Then- gym work (serious stuff)...but I now ride my bike worth, which is new to me and am a bit sore- so will have to be careful.to the city- about 70 minutes

Thanks venuscat!
Oh yeah, the water is crucial. At least 2 litres a day.....I forget what that is in US measurements.
