7:12 pm in California, and I cannot for the life of me remember if I checked in or not today!! Our remodel is moving along, and I can see a finished product very soon. All but one countertop is in, and the cabinets are finished, and look great. I also moved some furniture around on a Friday night, and it created a different look, and I'm really happy with how things have turned out. We have done this remodel on a budget, a few appliances from Habitat for Humanity, great sale on a stove and sink, laminate countertops that look great, and we did all of the work ourselves except for the cabinets. A few other trim and fixture things need to be finished downstairs, and then we can breathe for a bit before moving onto the next project which will be the kids rooms.
I am sore tonight, but feeling very accomplished!

I spent from 8-5 cleaning today, the house is currently spotless downstaetis, and anything that was in a cabinet has been washed, donated, or organized.

Hi Suze,
I am doing okay, my weekend was very busy, so bit much time for thinking, or relaxing, I will probably be exhausted tomorrow.
With all the health issues my mom has had this year, and the stress of remodeling, I am so grateful I have the job I do, I love it, and it really is the perfect fit for me.

Delilah your home really is looking pretty wonderful to me! Yes, the cabinets were a great pick. I'm thinking how fun that would be to be able to pick & choose. We are long time Renters, Super Bowl Sunday 1992, we moved onto this property. Long time landlords finally sold last March. With sadness in our hearts, we are choosing not to live here with the new landlord . So, I've been packing everyday. Well ..... sorting, throwing out, donating and then boxing up!
Nuff of that .... I'm here to sign in for my next 24. With much gratitude to my HP!
