Class of October 2014 Part 44
You got any particular spring projects in mind for your lawn/garden Arbor? With your general line of work you may not want to think about anything botanical when it's your time off. But with your great new spread you may be ready to put your stamp on it.
I'd like to garden somewhere different for a season....work with some plant varieties that we're not able to use down here. I intend to make that happen one of these days.
Well, I was a bit triggered Friday night. We met up with my mom and stepdad for dinner at my sister's house. I'd felt agitated most of the day and also forgot to eat lunch. So walking in the door there I was tired, agitated, and hungry and noticed my BIL nursing what appeared to be bourbon. I really wanted to feel more relaxed and found myself thinking about it too much. Anyway, I dove into the appetizers and poured myself a cranberry seltzer and 15 minutes or so later it'd passed. Doesn't happen too much but I feel better putting it out there.
Edit to say I'd quite enjoy hiking in your avatar Arbor.

Anxiety and fatigue can still prompt some 'associative' thoughts in me, also, but they are, thankfully, easily dismissed.
Do you think about what they are saying? I kind of think it's:
I'm hungry, do you have food? Hmm....guys guys where is the food? Do you know buddy? Nah, not sure yet, just got here....

I was thinking the exact same thing! He or she actually squawked for well over 20 minutes looking straight at me. Wonderful, experience.
Yes, Mark. I still have a lot of projects going on outdoors at the new house here. Still some more trees to come down to make way for other plants. It’s a process that will take time. Can only do so much! I still need to move all my firewood from one side of the property to the other. I plan to tackle that this coming weekend depending on this weeks major snow storm.

Oh wow, those cranes are talking some smack. Good looking creatures they are, but with a singing voice like mine! Where do they nest?
We built this place in 2002 Arbor, and part of the fun yard-wise has been the evolution of it all as our wants and needs changed. It's much more of a shade yard now than back then. Putting your stamp on things should be fulfilling . I bet it'll look awesome. What kind of sod y'all use up there?
Finished up tax prep this evening, so off it goes to the CPA tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
