Aah! The end of a great day. My little Melly was 10 today and we had a great time celebrating tonight. Family time. Doesn't get much better does it?
Had an interesting chat with my mum today. They are having a big party next year for their golden wedding. She asked me how I felt about the alcohol at the party and if I minded. Bear in mind my mum really doesn't like "talking" I was quite taken aback. Truth is I really don't mind. I'll still be there with all the family and my parents friends. Their ruby wedding party was a bit of a disaster for me drink wise so perhaps she wanted to just get it out there. It doesn't ever really crop up between is but I'm glad she felt comfortable enough to ask.
