I'm up, and awake, at 8:21am, on a Saturday morning? That's unheard of for me! No hangover, no rushing to the bathroom to vomit, no sleeping the day away. Instead of drinking last night and focusing on me, I put a 100 piece puzzle together with my 5 year old daughter and we laughed the whole time being silly.

Here is to another 24 hours of sobriety with my daughter!

Sure and Nick have a wedding today?
A huuuge congratulations to you- So happy for you both!

I'm having remodeling work done here and had to unplug everything at one point.
So I decided to go off the grid for awhile. It was good for me, I think-
But not coming on here is kinda dumb-

School started a few weeks ago and at the moment we're sweating it out in very hot weather. Yesterday our brick, pizza-oven-of-a-school was almost unbearable .

But we made it.
Also, no drinking for me and very happy about that.

Again, congratulations to Suze and Nick!!

24 more hours please.

Was told by manager he will schedule driving test with another boss who will give it to me & others;a coworker that's a bulk driver said my pay will go up just for passing written test! This is definitely a new phase in sobriety & life-very exciting

Been to Waitrose...normally can't even afford the loo roll in there...but splashed out on a bottle of pink fizzy bubbly stuff ( non alcoholic of course )..and a box of chocolate eclairs. At 9pm Uk time....I will whizz them in Cyberspace ,to Everyone...and we can have a funny five minutes going bonkers for the happy couple. As I'm alone ...I may dance around in my pyjamas to the Spice Girls..err..I mean Heavy Metal. Love you all. Xxxxx
