Thanks Dee for the kind words, the new thread and everything you do. Thanks everyone for the lovely supportive replies yesterday. Not sure what happened..... I just became temporarily overwhelmed with emotion. It's passed and I feel back to normal now. Better than normal, I feel a little more healed and a little more cleansed. I think the wise people on here were right..... tears are normal and a sign that I'm healing. I feel so lucky to have each and every one of you in my life.

Congrats to all fantastic milestoners and happy wedding eve Venus and Goat!!! I googled your wedding venue yesterday. Maybe it's odd but when I can't be somewhere, I like to visualise the place in my mind and then direct all my love and best wishes to that specific place. All that love should be mid way across the Atlantic about now and will be there when the ceremony starts tomorrow. The venue looks beautiful, the day will be magical and you two will be your useful awesome selves. So excited for you both. Love to everyone. 24 more hours please xxxx

Good morning all! Friday morning again they come round so fast! Plus that means it's only 1 more sleep until Suze and Goat's big day!!!!!!!!
Pebbles darling it was actually quite wonderful to see your honest and open post. I think once the dust starts settling after we put the drink down it's pretty common to not even know who we are any more. I found all the new free time it a little overwhelming too. What do I do? What do I even like to do? How do I have fun? Am I allowed to have fun even? I don't know about you but alcohol robbed me of so much time. Even when I wasn't drunk it consumed my thoughts. Freedom from that is a true gift. But yes. Now I'm a 45 year old woman-child and it is a little scary. But here we are and there's no turning back time so we all have a journey. Its a cliche but I do believe time is our best friend through this. Patience is something we need to train our brains to learn as it gives us some peace. Plus never forget Pebbles. Ultimately you're saving your life. That's the bottom line.
I truly believe we are a group of very courageous people. Striving for inner peace despite the addiction and the world around us going mad from time to time.
Happy Friday all! Let's plan a hapoy and safe one and help one another as we always do
