Thanks everyone for your well wishes. My new headache doctor tweaked my meds a bit and is going to get me going on Botox injections.
I had a good AA meeting today
An old dear friend is back in town and sober and that makes my heart happy.

Adoco on tele- with technology and people who know things- Bermuda -T. A guy moved 50 miles in 3 seconds, by the mystery of electronic fog. It sent him on a know things trip through space and time.
Aproductive day. Went to my friend's place for lunch (near fam. home0. My ex thoughtfully DID drop off some stuff I asked for. A chess set (mom/cognitive training) and my old IPOD- with ninetween kajillion songs, including MY Pink-F. I even had enough bits and pieces to recharge it and connect it to powered speakers. The axis of awesome.
It was much more comfortable this time. These guys moved to that area- because we did. I came away with lots of home cooking (Roast Lamb/ vegies), some mint plants (they bought a lime tree- which had a little mint in the pot. The lime tree died and the mint went ballistic).

Good morning/evening everyone. Should be a good day, except for chores and yardwork. (Just remembered I used to keep beer in the garage and chug it between the mowing, the trimming, the blower, etc. Yuck.)
Good friend from out of state stopping by today, then dinner with more friends tonight. Going to a classic American roadhouse along the river--but no beer for moi. And that feels pretty good.

Morning all!
Waking up sober and cold. Happy about the sober not so sure how I feel about the cold. Nine degrees out and frost on the ground....I guess an early Fall really is coming.
May have to go into work today. We shall see. Fingers crossed I don't. And still looking for the elusive going away gift. Blah
Well time to get up and face the day.

It's warming up now. Should get to around 24 (I'll let the Americans in the room do the math on that one)
Made a batch of turkey breakfast patties this morning for the week ahead. Turned out pretty decent.

Off work today. Thank goodness. Last night was tiring but financially lucrative.
