5:00, lack of sleep is about the worst thing when you first stop drinking. Groggy as hell and have to get to work. I know it'll pass and I did it to myself just hard to function on a couple hours of sleep. OK done whining. 24 hours sober comin up.

I have another friend coming over today with her little one for a play date- I am going to make my birthday week all about connecting with those who are dear to me instead of isolating in the house.

Thanks again for all the support, it means the world to me and I couldn't have done it without you! I commit to another 24 hours of sweet sobriety. I will never go back to that dark place again- never, ever ever...
Congrats on 85 days, Sunflowerlife.

What a fantastic post.

Sobriety

When they took the catheter out last time she started to bleed internally, and that was when she went into shock, so I want to be here to make sure she is okay.

She has made improvements, she's just been so tired that she falls asleep mid conversation, and loses focus. I'm sure her body is just exhausted. She is still in ICU, they had to give her a transfusion of platelets last night because her count dropped again, it may be because of the heparin for the clots. She is going to need to be on some sort of blood thinner again, and I believe they started her on one around midnight. I need to double check with the doctor this morning.

Okay, enough of my babbling. Congrats to all of our Milestoners, and continued prayers for Kris and her hubby, Leigh, Jo, and anyone else who needs them.

Have a great day everyone.

❤️Delilah
Many prayers your way today, dear Delilah, that all goes very well for your Mom and that she starts to rebound soon.

❤️ Love to you, too. ❤️
