5:00, lack of sleep is about the worst thing when you first stop drinking. Groggy as hell and have to get to work. I know it'll pass and I did it to myself just hard to function on a couple hours of sleep. OK done whining. 24 hours sober comin up.

I have another friend coming over today with her little one for a play date- I am going to make my birthday week all about connecting with those who are dear to me instead of isolating in the house.
Thanks again for all the support, it means the world to me and I couldn't have done it without you! I commit to another 24 hours of sweet sobriety. I will never go back to that dark place again- never, ever ever...
