24 Hour Recovery Connection Part 260
❤️ Hugs, peace, strength and love to YOU, bandi ❤️
So blessed to begin another 24 hours of sobriety! Things were NOT in my favor yesterday and I had a fleeting thought of having a drink, but, my prayers were answered.
Congratulations to everyone making it another day of sobriety and prayers for those struggling.

Not in the best mood today but hoping some meditation will change it around this afternoon.
I'm here for another 24 hours of blessed freedom from the chains of alcohol. I will never go back there again. Never, ever ever.
I really want to work on not expecting so much from myself. I don't need to be perfect- I don't need to look perfect. I am okay just the way I am.

Good morning everyone.
Hope you all know how amazing and strong you are, every morning after I wake up I sit and read your post , it give me strength to have a great day ahead , a sober day, a clean day. You all are very important in my recovery and life.
Love and hugs all around and I'm so grateful to all of you.
Real friends are those who, when you've made a fool of yourself, don't feel that you've done a permanent job.

What kind of friends do we have? Are they people who complain a lot? Are they people who laugh at us or put others down?
The kind of people we want to be will decide what kind of friends we have. If we want to feel sorry for ourselves, we will choose friends who will tell us how rotten their lives are. If we want to think we're better than others, we will hang around people who laugh at others' mistakes.
But if we want to be the best we can be, we will pick friends who see the good in life, people who will encourage us to be ourselves and who will help us try harder at things that are difficult for us.
How can I be a better friend today?
