Just finished a coffee & going back to moving all the stuff out of one room so the workmen can start on Monday

Mrs Sw was having a dilemma on Amazon for a new harness for glen but we're all sorted out now I've never spent more than a week away from glen I've realised lately how much were there for one another Mrs Sw thinks he will miss us my logic tells me he's going to love it there the food is unbelievable & he has stayed there many times before so a home away from home - last time he refused dog food based on what he was getting at my in laws lol

Glen's big brother was recently put to sleep (My eldest sister's dog) he was 17 i had a pic up of the two of them from where I've looked after him over the years Inc a 6 month stay one time

Sorry if I'm mentioning dogs a lot x

All done kitchen has been emptied and as a kind gesture i swept the entire backyard just outside my garden that me & my neighbour share normally we each do our own halves but i thought random act of kindness & cleared away all the leaves stinging nettles weeds and stumps of grass and done a fine job

i noticed he put ant powder down so didn't sweep over it - even if he doesn't notice i felt good doing it i have good neighbours (mostly lol)

Not sure if I'm going for a run yet my 20h fast is finishing in 2h 15mins !!!

& we noticed that there are California poppies growing wild in our garden we took pics il upload later & of our Lillies of the valley & our snowdrops

Such a good post , thanks Lulu xxx

Suze ,thanks for clearing that up for me Do you have to pay for doc visits there ? Is there any bulk billing? Is their Medicade like Medicare?
Is the American health system as bad as we are led to believe?

Can't be too bad with The way they have looked after Bobs wife. That was so quick.

I'm sure Australia is going down the gurgled these days with the bloody Liberals!

Shite health care, education and closing so many of our hospitals.

I hope everyone is having a good day/ night xx

Shaun's been a little testy the last couple of days ( understandably so ) and we still haven't got our results.

Angie is really sick today & I can't see her as I visited my brother yesterday .didnt know he had a sore throat, so even if I don't get it, I could be a carrier. So I've got to be really careful.

The 4 th day of chemo is the pits but it's something we have learnt and are prepared for when Shaun starts his.

Love to you all xx
Yes I have to pay something for doctor's visits here even after paying a huge amount for private insurance....after Nick and I get married I will be on his, so that will help. But he has to pay a lot for his as well, even after it is partially paid by his work.

I would imagine there are incredibly awesome doctors here, and we in fact already know this from our US friends, but yes, this system is HORRENDOUS. Where all of the money goes is a good question. The charges are outrageous. I could get on my soapbox about this, but there really is no point. I chose to live here, so I have to deal with it.

(The health system in the UK sounds pretty good Mags, not unlike the one in Australia).

I'm sorry you and Shaun are still having to wait on results ~ please send him huge hugs from me love, and plenty for you as well.

And more love for dearest Angie. Praying tomorrow is a better day for her.

Suze, was thinking about you today. Did everything clear up with your hand? I know it was ages ago, but wondered if it ended up healing ok after your probs initially?

Hello dearest Crois.

I was thinking about you as well love: when are you meeting the kids?

My finger is doing awesomely well. Just remarkably. I can't use that hand in the way I used to ~ it was my strong hand, and I have lost the muscle in that arm pretty much, but meh, who cares. I am aware of how incredibly lucky I am. It doesn't hurt unless I accidentally bang it on something ~ the tumor is still there, but as long as the finger doesn't shatter I am not going to be complaining.

Not about that anyway!

Hello all, thanks for the new thread, Dee.

I went to see the play yesterday, it was fabulous! Laughter, tears, everything. And the set looked amazing. Great audience. The message really is to tell those you love that you love them and to let petty quarrels go. Great theme and message!

I'm tired but ok. Back to backstage for 6 more shows.

I read a bit of a GQ interview online where Brad Pitt blamed a lot of his relationship problems on his drinking. He's quit drinking now.

Yes, Wolfie, are you going on holiday?
Love to all.

Oh wow Leshar ~ that is VERY interesting about Brad Pitt.
I knew there was something not right at all there....the whole break-up was extremely weird. I kept thinking why would she be so aggressive? Why would she insist that he could not see the kids unless she had control over the how and when, and why on earth did it have to be under supervision? NOW it makes sense. Big time. Guessing that the lovely Brad did some not-so-lovely things. I hope he has a program in place rather than having just stopped.

(Going to read the article later).

SO happy the play is good, and I love the message. Really love it.

And hello dearest Bug.

Sleep well Snoozums and Crois and Dee and hopefully PJ is getting some sleep as well.
