So glad your hand/finger mended ok Suze because I think it gave you some angst on the first trip, so I wondered how it was progessing. Fingers crossed (oh boy, was that a bad pun, lol), it stays trouble-free.xx

Yes, I have met the kidlet...so very sweet and smart too. We are now ptactising baby steps of settling into family life together in preparation for when I move in. Probably in a few months time, although we both wish it was now.

Relationships, no matter how wonderful the person, take patience and diligence though - I must say. We have a wonderful relationship, with great communication....but it's the 'patience' to know even I can't read my own mind sometimes, so how can I expect him to? And the diligence needed to care for someone and protect this relationship. I'm grateful to be present and 'show up' in this relationship, because I've been blessed with a second chance at life. I'm not frittering away love again, that's for sure.
Wishing you an an abundance of happiness, Crois, and then some

OK Aussies....this is the best chocolate brownie ice cream....well, I may be biased. OK, I am biased....and really annoyed that I can't get it here, especially since it looks like its American. Apparently it is only available in some states. Not this one it seems. Perhaps that's a good thing.

Ha! Well I am. And it is cold. Not US cold per se, but cold after being in the 90s. A singlet top one day, a sweater and the heating on the next....weird.

I think we've been having 4 days rain to 2 days sun in cycles over the past 3 weeks.
It's cold also.

Thanks for your kind wishes everyone.

Suze...I love ben and Jerry s choc brownie. ..I haven't tasted anything else cloae to it as I love the size of the brownie chunks.
HOWEVER. ...it's only fair to do research, right? And I'd HAVE to taste any competition - just for research purposes, of course!

I have to finish my Saturday morning housework and go vacuum. My desire to do so is sitting firmly at zero, lol. Might top up my cup of tea and read for a bit, haha.

Ben and Jerry's is made just north of my location.
I'm surprised it made it all the way to Oz.

Hi all,
Second act underway, can rest a bit, quieter wrt crew than first act.
Terrible rain here too Bob. Worries about flooding in some parts. It really dampens my mood too.
Croissant, I'm very happy for you! Wise words, thanks, about relationships.
Well, I still think Haagen Daz cookie dough Dynamo is the best. But I really was bingeing on it as you guys know, for a while. I'm doing ok wrt this atm.
Wolfie, why the strict diet, just curious. New kitchen, nice! I want a new bathroom!
Thinking of you and Shaun, Snoozy, You and your wife too, Bob.

Morning

Thanks Dee for the new thread!

You guys are so wrong! Haagen Dazs is the best! Just plain old vanilla, though the raspberry and mango is pretty awesome too! We've got it on offer at the mo, too, at Asda for just £2. Well, I had to stock up, you can't miss a bargain like that!

Have a great weekend, lovelies xx
