I'm making chicken stock today Phoenix. I'll use it to make chicken and potato soup and cabbage soup! Yep. Soup this time of year! Most all of it goes into the freezer. It's so nice just to grab a bag out and dinner is ready!

Morning Marchers. Slowly getting ready for work here. After work gonna go do laundry and play some MarioKart with my nephew.

Yep PJ our IKEAs have restaurants. We've never been to one though, somehow I just don't trust they would be up on food allergies and cross contamination since the majority of actual restaurant don't.
It's nice and raining here today. I love it, hot tea, sweaters, the heater on and soup planned for dinner. I have leftover carnitas so I can whip up an easy posole in no time at all and quesadillas to dip into it. Yummy yummy!

Well I am the proud new owner of an instagram food account. I was that annoying person who always posted their food on FB. I am ready to delete my FB. It's become nothing but politics and cats. I freakin hate cats and I've unfollowed so many people over their constant political whining.
When my husband left for 6 weeks I totally lost my love for cooking and only recently started getting it back. I follow a ton of home decorating and food accounts so I decided to jump in myself. I think it will help get my cooking "mojo" back. 😁

Got through the weekend at work....we're now trying to adjust to this brand new 4+ million dollar building, and all everyone wants to do is bitch. (Business as usual, in other words!) There's an endless list of complaints from everyone ~ so glad I'm not in charge....it occurred to me today that I may be let off the hook here for a minute.....for once I don't have a target on my back....we'll see how long this lasts!
Back home now & hopefully I don't have to go back out today. I'll be staying close by....this is your warning!!!

Is it Monday? I must've fallen asleep early last night. I think I'm approaching the 2 month mark....4 months is my longest stretch of sobriety so I'd better keep going....Thanks to you guys for making it possible!

Today is a day off - woot!! I am sitting in a very quiet house, Charlie is snuggled beside me and I am having my first cuppa startin' fluid. No plans for the day...I forgot my gym stuff at work so not even that is happening today.

It was a busy, but sober weekend here. The sun is finally back out today, but it feels like fall. Still better than cold rain.
