Dr Who has multiple personality disorder.
Going to e meeting- mindful stuff is mindful crap today- not working. Very productive day- but the old default still kicks in.

Andy, how are things going? What's the next step for your wife's treatment?

Hi overs
Hi Sassy

Hope you're all ok.

I'm still here! Docs have just made the rounds. They're taking me off the nebulisers and if I can blow a peak flow of 275 at 6pm I'm going home. So please all you guys with big strong lungs please send some my way so I can go home. 40 minutes sleep last night. Though now I've got myself into nurse nightingale helping 2 of the ladies in the room we share. These ladies have much worse illnesses than I have. I should be grateful.

Toots I sound more like Darth Vader apparently than a Dalek
There's a Spanish nurse here who would like to work back home but no work.
Don't forget to bring the old sunshine home with you. Pretty Please.

Hugs to all the overs

Hummock day, haha.
Toots that is wonderful advice I'm going to do that.
PJ good on you going to a meeting and getting right......hope it helps.
Hi Gilmer.

I've started running again, able to get into a routine, yay. This is a great running and dog neighbourhood, lots of space with no traffic, trails, and parks. Makes life easier. Now I just need to find a way to get the guys upstairs to stop walking like elephants. I hate having my peace disrupted.

Thanks again got your support overs. Guess what ! Yaaayy, I'm home. They unleashed me at around 4pm. They needed my bed. So I'm a happy chappie with loads of bruises. (Oh and I blew a peak flow of300, thanks to all the overs for support) 300 not good for 'normal' people, hubby is 700 on a bad day.The worst ones were injections in each wrist in the artery to obtain blood to test for arterial blood gas tests. Tests for oxygen and CO2 levels. The left one was ok, the right one hurt so much and the doc said 'oh sorry did that hurt, that was nasty of me! '.
All in all, happy to be home with hubby and Merlin my cat.

Inpar, pleased you've got your running shoes back on .

Sassy, how was the island walk, did I miss it?

Love to all the overs.

Mags, so happy you're home. I have never understood why hospitals think it's an awesome idea to make sure no one gets any decent rest. Mr. Again had a knee replacement and spent two nights in the hospital and didn't sleep at all, mostly because they kept waking him up to check on him. Seriously?

IP, you and I need to start a support group for apartment living. It's been 30 years for me and it's a mind adjustment for certain, not least because Worrier Dog is fairly convinced at every sound that We Are All Going To Die. Which causes me continuous high blood pressure because I'm fairly convinced that thanks to him, We Are All Going To Be Evicted, which We Cannot Afford.

My other dog, aka Brains Sold Separately, has done pretty well except being a young dog, he still occasionally is using his single-digit brain cells for things other than bladder monitoring. So last night he curled up in the middle of our new, makeshift bed...and aforementioned bladder failed him. Copiously. On the only sheets and one of the two blankets we had. Did I mention I had spent the entire afternoon putting them all through the wash? Did I mention he had been outside not an hour earlier?

Group hug to all...

P.S. It's amazing how even on day 475 the monster still wakes up and pokes me every once in a while. Yesterday (which marked four weeks since we started this craziness) after Worrier Dog had loudly lost his mind everywhere we had driven all afternoon and we had spent the morning moving out of the hotel and shlepping our meager belongings (where is moving van? Where?) up two flights of stairs, I heard, "YOU NEED DRINK. NOW."

I bashed it over the head with a 2 x 4 promptly, but it just goes to show...

Oh gosh Mags ~ I don't know what happened. I have missed a couple of days.

Going to read back, but just so very glad that you are OK ish....you poor love.

EDIT: I caught up....sending you some of my awesomely strong lung power.
No idea why my asthma disappeared since I moved here, but I am very pleased.
Hoping your bruises start to heal, and they work out what on earth is making this all so much worse for you.

More love, and love to everyone. ♥

Glad you told the monster where to go Aries.

I like to tell my head: thanks for sharing.
Somehow it diffuses me.

Hope your sweet dog adjusts and there is less washing for you....sigh....it's hard to fix these things once they pee in the wrong place. Lucky we love our animals huh? They can sure be a lot of work.

So much love to you.

Love to you too Gilmer honey. s

Haha Aries, so true, they were taking patients for X-rays at midnight! I guess they must be really busy. Patients get the short straw. I saw them walking round waking patients up to get their blood pressure etc. It was interesting watching, I gave up on the old sleep, though I'd catch up at home.

I hope your dog settles down, bless.
I think the AV does come along occasionally but our tools we keep to hand , even if it is a 2x4

Thanks Suze, I don't think the rapeseed fields help around us, really, but there's so many things I'm allergic to I should just live in a bubble!

Love to all the overs x

Mags, glad you are back at home. I feel your pain on the multiple blood tests. They just can't seem to resist doing it about every 6 hours, including waking you up in the middle of the night for it.
