One Year & Over Part 47
Good morning, Overs!
Itchy, yikes! I have so many missing body parts (internal, thankfully) that I really don't want to lose my teeth although they do seem to be about 90% fillings and crowns (15 of them the latter). I don't doubt I've financed around-the-world trips for a couple of dentists . I hope the physical terrorists will let you go soon.
Congrats, Suze! I hope the time until you move here permanently comes very quickly.

Hi, Everyone!
Been a bit MIA over here, so apologies. My hubby has been sick with a virus going on week 2, and our youngest has now missed 4 days of school, plus was ill over the weekend with Influenza B. I'm fighting to stay afloat but have a very 'froggy' voice....not in a good way like Demi Moore, either.
BUT, hey I'm sober so life is good. I'm very grateful for that!
Happy Monday to all!!!!
Welcome, Aries & August!

Morning overs
Dharma, I hope you and your family have a speedy recovery, and yes above all, staying sober rocks!
Still feeling rough myself, two lots of antibiotics and steroids don't seem to have worked. I'm back at the asthma nurse Friday. Think the Bronchiectasis is taking its toll., But on a positive, I'm sober through all this. Like Dharma says, I too am grateful for this.
Love and hugs to everyone
Have a terrific Tuesday X

Hi guys, took me two sessions over two days to catch up, so I apologise for late responses!
Happy 13 months PJ, how are you settling in?
IP don't stay where you are not appreciated, or treated as a lesser being. You are worth more than that and deserve better. Put out your feelers now, you must have some good contacts through previous work?
August(?) it sounds like you have a lot of emotional stuff going on just now, feel free to offload here as much as you need to over the coming weeks. I know how much it has lifted my burdens from time to time, just writing down a post.
Glee my sweet friend, 3 years, it is amazing how far you have come over that time, and how hard you continue to work at your personal developement.
Mags I hope you feel better soon sweetie.
Sass, I am so glad your new kittie has found her way into your huge heart.
Itchy, sounds like you have your hands full.
You too Wolfie, I hope your dad is on the mend and they find the cause of his water retention.
Gilmer, I need to groan in Spanish!
Zip- a new lady friend huh? You dog! Treat her like a princess and she will be your forever!
We have been working hard on the house since we arrived, not sure yet if the guy has totally gotten rid of the bathroom smell, it certainly isn't as bad as it was. We have moved into two rooms now, and last night had our first meal here. A cold collation at a patio table in a bare walled kitchen. Well, it will be a kitchen next time we come across. At the moment it is just four newly plastered walls! Had to wash up in the bathroom! Taking today off, our fist since arriving.
If I missed you out its because I love you soooo much! xx

Hi Toots and all. I am settling in very well thanks. I remind myself this is for 3-7(ish) months then onto then next stage which is about the same- then onto a long term place. I have made it my own- with my art everywhere and lots of adopted plants. I do enjoy being in my own space. The first sober one in my entire adult life. I still miss my sons- que... Feels weird, but I have to admit it's getting better...a little...
The latest book came in from the printer yesterday afternoon. It's the first one that I edited 100% and it turned out great, if I do say so myself Sure is satisfying to see the final product.
Rain here this morning, glad it's not snow.
Have a Terrific and/or Tolerable Tuesday, overs!

Pleased your book editing got 100%. What else would it be!!
We've got sunshine after an icy start. I'm just having my break and the sun is looking very good.
Pancake day in the U.K., today folks ! I gave absolutely no idea how or why the tradition was started.

Morning, all...
Hugs to all and especially those who are under the weather. The good thing about being sick sober is that it's 100% not your fault so you can be all self-pitying and righteous about it to your loved ones...but maybe that's only me
Feral kitty has been eating in the decommissioned trap for two weeks. Yesterday we set it, thinking she would go right in. Of course not. She may be smarter than I think...
So that's still a thing. Spent all day yesterday driving nervous rescue dog two hours one way to the vet for his pre-move checkup...he hung in there pretty well until she put a needle in his back leg, whereupon he snapped at her. Sigh. So I need to add muzzle training to my list. Yeehaw.
I am surrounded by boxes and dirty floors (because, hey, why bother) and overall chaos. The moving truck arrives in three weeks.
Have a lovely day, all...
