24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 203
Wow - sympathetic labor pains! Nothing quite like a sister.
Tears of both sadness and incredible joy; we never know for how long our gifts/blessings will be with us.

Wow. Just wow!!!! Thanks, Delilah!!!!!
9:09 in California and checking in for another 24. It looks like the rain will be letting up today. As I was driving the kids to school this morning I saw several beautiful rainbows, one was even a double rainbow.
I am feeling like an old lady this morning, I was cleaning yesterday and moved the wrong way and now my lower back really hurts. I am wondering if I am still compensating due to my knee. I think the lesson learned is I shouldn't clean the house.
Hope everyone is having a great day!!
❤️Delilah

Yep, that's the lesson - no doubt about it!!!!!
, Delilah. What an example of grace she was; she never complained. I would be calling the news stations to make sure everyone knew how unhappy I was. Not my sister; she was smiling 'til the bitter end. I will tell a story about her final moments another time.
Wow, Nic. What a blessing. Some people are just so 'in tune'. She (and you) are gifted.
I have a life-long friend with twins; it is simply eerie how they just 'know' what the other is going through.
My sister had an experience which still brings chills to me. A woman walked-in off the street into her place of business and said to her "In very short time, very much will be asked of you; I tell you this because I want you to know that, despite the pain and heartbreak, you will not be alone". In less than a month, she was diagnosed with cancer and died within a few years; she was very young. Twenty-seven women (in addition to my other sister and I) cared for her in her final two years; quite literally, she was never alone; when one person left her door, another appeared.
I haven't shared that story often and now I am literally sobbing.
Checking in for 24 hours. At times, it is so difficult to be patient ! I managed to get past my first year of sobriety with patience. I managed to run 10k today after being patient with my injury. But folks still drive me nuts ! I am going bonkers, I know Venting over
Congrats to the milestoners ! I guess you have loads of patience !!! Well done and keep being patient with yourself and being in the moment, one after the other. They will gradually and deliciously add up without you knowing !
Talking about delicious, nice cakes Delilah !
Another 24 hours of patience (!), loving kindness and sobriety pls ! Its 8:30am here !

I highly recommend it. I'm eating Vegemite on toast right now. I don't know how I lived without it
