Internet access- a news item on just now- the Aust. NBN which cost billions of dollars works so well one guy has to put a dongle in a snap lock freezer bag and pulley it with a rope up a tree to get access. Hi tech stuff. Hope all are ok.

I have been posting here twice a day, once in the morning before work and once in the evenings once I am 'safe' from drinking. I guess I should ask for 12 more, LOL, but I'll just double up twice a day!

I'm trying to maintain an attitude of gratitude. At work I can grumble through the hours and be miserable (which is soooo me) or I can be grateful to have a job and my bills paid, which gives me peace and serenity. For a guy like me grumbling and griping about work seems natural, but leads to unpleasantness. So that's one thing I'm working on is my gratitude. I've got so much to be grateful for. But if I only focus on the negative, then negative feelings are what I'll get. So here's to 24 more hours of grateful sobriety!!!

22:38 EDT and another 24 for me! Day 3 coming to a close...starting to feel less anxious...started posting in Class of December 2016 and found some old classmates from 2015 there. Everyone hoping this will be it for us.
