Good morning friends I hope all is well. Still sober I finally got to go back to work I was off for 62 days. It was good for me though I was able to work on my personal life I did 41 meetings in 30 days. Don't even have the desire any longer to drink. I will be back later today to see how everyone is doing. Love you guys

Nov 7th. That'll be 8 months sober today. Yay me! So far so good. I will admit I had some powerful cravings over the weekend that I haven't had in a while. Basically, I was bored watching TV and thinking how much better I'd feel drinking along with it. I wish those feelings would just go away for good, but I guess they'll always nag at me. And congrats to Bobbie on 5 months!

I love you guys so much but (again) I) need to take a "break" from SR. What I'm doing to try to stay sober is not working. Gotta go back to what worked for almost 6 years of sobriety before my relapse....AA.
I'm so stubborn! I'm always looking for the easier, softer way and it's not getting me anywhere!
Every single one of you will be and HAVE been in my thoughts and prayers! I love you all so much!

^^^Does anyone remember that show?^^^ I don't usually get into the singing competition reality shows, but this one had me hooked....we're talking Tommy Lee, Gilby Clarke, and Jason Newsted searching for a singer, with Dave Navarro as the show's host....ummm, yeah, Purps was in heaven!!!
Plus my favorite contestant ended up winning, so of course I went to the concert when they played at Hard Rock Live
Just thought I'd share that lyric...it's the latest album I added to my iPod and I just spent two hours at the gym! I need to chill out!!!

Home from therapy and dinner with my daughter. Both were good. I'm no crazier than last week so that's a bonus. Hope things go well today, Phoenix.

Well D-day done. To help with healing, closure and not cause any further distress to myself or my family I agreed to what the ex wanted. Quite fair and reasonable given the damage done. I went into this process months ago- leading up to today (1330). I planned to do the right thing and be the best person I could be. My gift (if it can be called that) to the ex was to meet my own expectations which I did. I done alright. Sad, lonely, hurt etc but that is life. It does not stop- nor will I. I have learnt from the past, used it and reached a significant event with success. The struggle still goes on- but sobriety and SR play a part in today- so global friends, sincerely thanks.

Good morning class! Checking in on my way to work. I am struggling in many areas of my life right now and just working on pulling it all together. I may take Casey's lead and look for some support in the newcomers thread but this will always be home. Thinking of you ❤️❤️
