Congrats on one week, Nic. It may not have seemed like it to you, but that week went by fast! Time, in general, is going too fast lately, I'm having a hard time keeping up.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Delilah, I hope your doctor can sort out whats going on.

Mav, what's the count now? It's hard to believe that our class is coming up on one year soon. Yes, many have slipped along the way but we are still together, and that's what counts! Off to work soon, have a good Monday all.

Nic, great job getting through that first week. It is nice to have you back in our class. Your posts were missed!

Thump, I had to look up aspersions, now I am determined to find a way to slip it into a conversation somehow.

Odelle, we have 40 days until January 1st, it is going to fly, especially with the holidays.

I had a doctor appointment today and things seem good. She agreed that the blood pressure seemed to be more of the issue, going to keep me on the meds 2x a day to try to keep it normal. Today or was 119/70, so perfect. Thanks for all of the prayers and thoughts. I am very grateful for this class. We are all pretty darn amazing!

I spent the day cleaning and running kids around, just took a bubble bath, and I'm determined to finish the latest JD Robb book tonight.

Tomorrow a few errands, and working on my son's science fair project.

Me, even though it's just me, my husband and son, possibly daughter popping in at some point, I'm still cooking the full meal. Some traditions are worth keeping. I how everyone is doing well. Be safe if you're traveling over the holiday.

Lots of cleaning & last minute grocery shopping today. I don't remember last Thanksgiving so am extra grateful for this one. Sober, healthy and ready for the day, whatever it may bring.

Hiya Odi, I sure am. We have some cousins coming down from Dallas for the holiday, so I'll be spending much of my weekend, including the holiday, over at Mom's. I hope you enjoy holiday, sweetie. I really get the traditionalism -- out in California, I'd do a full meal even if it was only my son and me.

No cooking for me this year, though.

I will be in and out over the next few days, but I hope we all have a Thanksgiving that is happy, healthy, safe, and sober. Let me tell y'all, you guys -- and SR -- are on my list of gratitudes. I'm so thankful for you all.

Delilah- I'm so glad to hear that you're on the mend.. rest up Hunas Christmas is chaos!!!
Odelle- the first few days were awful as expected but it's going really fast now.. I'm really enjoying feeling clear headed and hopeful again!! Alcohol has a lot to answer for!! :-)
Can't believe you are all heading towards your 12 months- how amazing!!!

Anyway happy thanksgiving to you all- we don't have thanksgiving but it seems a lovely celebration!!!

Happy Tha ksgiving Jannies,

Heading to my MIL's tomorrow, there will be at least 20 of us, so very loud, and lots of fun. The kids will swim, one of the benefits of living in San Diego. Looking forward to a day with family.

Today was spent cleaning, and finishing up my son's science fair project. It is nice to be done before the last minute, which with a nine year old boy happens a lot.

Nic, great job on ten days! I'm so glad you are back with us. ❤️

Thanksgiving seems like the perfect time to let all of you know how grateful I am for you. This class has been an incredible support for me. It took me a while to get sobriety to stick, and I can think of a better group to go through this journey with. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving (or Thursday) with family and friends.

Hope you all had an amazing thanksgiving! I think eating too much goes with the territory with every holiday doesn't it!!

Still feeling too full, more than 12 hours later....and a massive headache, NOT brought on by a hangover! But it was good!

No malls for me today and Black Friday online deals don't look so appealing to me.
